We Are…
A committed capital fund launched in Summer 2023 with an aim to invest in and work with companies to help them grow and achieve scale.
A member-managed fund with a diverse investor base of over 50 North Carolinians who may also invest additional funds alongside the Fund on any given investment.
A fund that typically invests at the early stages of funding for a company in an amount ranging from $50k to $250k, with an average investment amount of $150k.
Our Areas of Focus
Geographic Focus
We primarily look for investment opportunities located in the Research Triangle Park region of North Carolina; however, we consider deals originating throughout North Carolina
and the southeastern United States.
We also consider syndication opportunities in companies outside of this geography that are strongly recommended by a trusted partnr.
Sector Focus
Our investment focus is relatively broad and is driven by the expertise and preferences of our members. Regardless of the investment opportunity presented, collective member interest drives our decision to proceed.
We evaluate a broad spectrum of companies that reflect the expertise and interest of our membership, which includes a diverse group of investors with a wide range of industry knowledge.
Stage Focus
We are focused on early-stage investment opportunities - generally Pre-seed, Seed, and perhaps Series A.
We are willing to play a key leadership role in leading investments for early-stage companies, writing term sheets where appropriate.
